Unlockery Optimizer
Windows ships with settings that cost you frames, and the tools that claim to fix that are mostly rockets and lies. I wanted one that named every setting it changed and could put all of it back. So that is what it does.
About
Unlockery is one person.
Not a company, not a team, not a support department. One person who writes the software, packs the shop, and answers the messages.
What that actually means for you
When you message about an order, you are not opening a ticket that gets routed. It comes to me. I am one person in one timezone, so it will not always be instant — but it will be an actual answer from someone who knows how the thing works, because I built it.
It also means there is nobody to hide behind. If something is broken, it is broken because of a decision I made, and I am the one who fixes it. The changelog is every release, including the ones that were fixing my own mistakes.
Why the software exists
Two apps, both built because I wanted them on my own PC first.
Unlockery Sentinel
Your SSD keeps a record of how much life it has left and Windows never shows it to anyone. I found that out the annoying way. Sentinel reads it, watches it over time, and tells you before the drive takes your files with it.
Things I will not do
Bundle anything. The installers contain the app. No toolbars, no second program, no "recommended partner offers".
Phone home with your data. The apps talk to one server, for one reason: checking your licence is still valid. Sentinel keeps its history in a file on your own PC and it stays there.
Quote you a made-up number. No "+200 FPS", no "94% faster". Anyone printing a figure like that on a box has not seen your PC.
Make cancelling hard. Cancel a plan from your account, in one place, without messaging anyone first.
Come and say something
The Discord is where most of it happens — support, release notes, and me arguing with people about power plans. Everything else is on the shop.
